At 8:30 on June 18, Tonnerre (L9014) amphibious assault helicopter carrier of the French Navy has docked at Baria-Secere Port, Phu My Town, Tan Thanh District, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Vietnam. The Tonnerre, headed by Colonel Jean-François Querat, stayed at the port in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau nearby instead of visiting Ho Chi Minh City because it is too big to be accommodated by the city’s port.
