PM Dung calls on air force to get stronger

The Air Defense-Air Force should always enhance its vigilance and readiness while continuing to build a stronger air force to fulfill all entrusted missions, PM Nguyen Tan Dung has said.

PM Dung met with officers of the Air Force Regiment 910 on April 7, 2013

The PM made the statement when he visited Air Force Regiment 910 on April 7, as part of his working trip to the central province of Phu Yen.

Over the past 54 years, Regiment 910 has always fulfilled its assigned duties, including the training of thousands of Vietnamese pilots, thus improving the fighting capacity of the country’s Air Force, he said.

The regiment has also taken part in search and rescue activities and contributed to the building of social houses and alleviating poverty. Since beginning its operations in Phu Yen in 2003, the regiment has always fulfilled its pilot training plans and other tasks.

While inspecting fight training at the regiment, Dung emphasized that the country is in peace time but defense building is still very important.

Therefore, the regiment in particular and the air force in general must be on high alert and continue to build itself into a comprehensive force with increased combat readiness to accomplish all assigned tasks, the PM said.

He also asked the regiment to actively renovate its training methods, especially for pilots.

Besides military skills and techniques, the regiment should also instruct pilots and officers in moral virtues and dignity, Dung added.

  1. Vietnam's economy is on the brink of collapse thanks to the lack of transparency, widespread corruption and incompetent stewardship of this current dickhead PM. See this link below for a grim assessment of Vietnam's economy.

Despite blatant failures, China wants to keep this loser in power so that he would inflict more damage to Vietnam to the point it would not be able to stand up and fight against Chinese invasion. Think about it, South Vietnam collapsed 38 years ago because the US ally dropped their financial support. They ran out of moneys to finance the war. We would see history would repeat itself when the Communist regime made the country bankcrupt. Without money they would not buy bullets, rockets etc from the Russians or anyone else. Who would bother to sell its warplanes, submarimes to a country with no money?

It's a shame to see Vietnam took a wrong path in history. The Vietnamese wouldn't have been in such a big mess if the Communists had not in power.

  4. This fucking PM is one of the most brutal dictator history has ever seen. Don't ever believe what he says. He and his predecessors including Ho Chi Min have committed terrible crimes against their own people for the last 80 years. They led the country into the bloodiest civil war human race has ever witnessed. Under Communist rule, there is no free election, no freedom of speech. People are denied of basic human rights. The flow of information is tightly controlled by the authoritarian government. They block many websites in fear the Vietnamese people would find out the truth and what have been happening around the world. The Vietnamese are not allowed to publish or write anything negative to the government even anything at all against China. Vietnamese are not allowed to protest against China's bully policies. Anyone found violating these rules will face harsh punishment such as: long jail terms in "re-education" camps in which prisoners are subject to harsh labor conditions, constant starvation and torture by the police. There are hundreds of political prisoners in detaintion all over the country.

These days, those in power in Hanoi, are puppets for the Chinese. They are not protecting Vietnam. Down down the Communists! Freedom and democracy for Vietnam! Let's unite to bring about the end of this bloody dictatorship.
